Texturing Progress

This is the train set, so i've began to texture the inside and outside with lamberts, as they will have to react with a light source which shines through the windows to give a sense of movement. Although I might test it with a toon shader.

Background Character_ Daydreamer

In a lot of the paintings I have included birds in the backgrounds, so rather than just paint it I thought I would include this model with a simple flying animation. To keep the daydream appearance, I included elements of lampposts seen in London, which give another element if I used a night scene.

Environment Projection Mapping tests

These are a couple of tests of using the Projection Mapping in Maya. This will allow me to animate in a 3D environment while keeping the concept art aspect. The technique is great to use, but the only issue i'm having is that when I render the scene, it comes out warped and deformed, even though it isn't in the shot cam.

"The Daydreamer" Character Head alterations

To get the 3D character model as close to my original sketch I have to get the head modeled precisely. My first attempt just didn't seem right,so i've now elongated the head giving the exact proportions as the sketch. Above is a comparison of the two.
