Project 1: soundscape- Francis Bacon: Screaming Pope


This is my key frame for my soundscape project, it is a painting by Francis Bacon in 1953 which shows a distorted version of Diego Velazquez's portrait of Pope Innocent X. This is quite a horrifying piece so straight away i'm thinking distorted sounds, and white noise feedback.

    have you tried scratching the harsh part of velcro? a slow scratch makes quite a fuzzy, crisp sound, like a slow-mo of white noise?
